Yes — the Sport Headband Wig is 100% hand-tied, so it's easy to wear the hair up or down. Ponytails, top knots, and French braids are all super easy in this wig, since the headband cups the head and you don't have to worry about the edge or perimeter of the wig showing, like you would with most wigs.

Can I braid this wig?

Yes, the headband wig is 100% hand-tied, so you can easily braid it. There are no styling limits — wear it up, down, curl it, or wear it straight.

Can you sleep in a The Sport Wig?

Yes, you can! The Sport Headband Wig is comfy, flexible, and lace-free, making it a great option to sleep in. For another hair-free option, check out our modern chic sleeping cap.

Can I go in a sauna or do hot yoga?

Yes, you can. The heat settings for synthetic hair range from 280–300°F. Most saunas and hot yoga rooms range from 90–160°F, so your hair will be fine. More details can be found here.

Our founder, Allison, goes in the sauna all the time. If the hair feels hot, just apply some water to it.

How to wash a The Sport Wig?

You can easily change the style on all of our hair using heat tools — flat irons and curling irons:

  • Human Hair: 285–305°F (140–150°C)
  • Luxury Synthetic: 285–305°F (140–150°C)
  • Heat-Friendly Synthetic: 280–300°F (137–148°C)
