Can I Use Heat Tools on My Luxury Synthetic Hair?

Yes! Unlike regular synthetic hair, our Luxury Synthetic hair is designed to handle heat styling — that's part of what makes it feel and behave so much like human hair. But there's a right way to do it, and a temperature range you'll want to stay within.

Safe Heat Range

For flat irons and curling irons, keep your tool set between 285–305°F (140–150°C). Going hotter than this risks damaging or melting the fibers — there's no benefit to more heat, so it's never worth pushing past this range.

Recommended Tools

Choosing Your Curl Size

• Beachy waves (loose & bouncy): 1.5"–2" barrel
• Glamorous curls (wavy & curly): 1"–1.25" barrel
• Tight curls: 3/8"–3/4" barrel

A Few Ground Rules

• Always mist the hair lightly with water before applying heat — this helps the heat distribute evenly and protects the fibers.
• Work slowly and in small sections (about 1/2"–1" at a time) rather than rushing through large chunks of hair.
• Let the hair cool fully before removing rollers or releasing a curl — this is what actually locks the style in.
• Never exceed 305°F (150°C), even if a look isn't coming out the way you want. Patience and technique get better results than extra heat.
